Dear Editor,
The Parliamentary Opposition must turn over a new leaf in the New Year and earn their high salaries. The Parliamentary Opposition, led by Mr. Aubrey Norton and his Parliamentarians, need to do the work of an Opposition and justify the high salaries they receive. They must analyse and criticize and make an input to bills and receive complaints from all citizens, including government supporters. They have to keep the Government on its p’s and q’s.
Instead in utter laziness, they do not study the bills but instead carry on a refrain which now sounds very empty especially when they advise their followers not to apply for the scholarships given by the Government or when they tell supporters not to take the Covid vaccines. Thousands of young people have applied and received scholarships; others decided to save their lives and take the vaccines. The Party is digging its own grave when they advise supporters to act against their interest.
Sincerely,
Paul Validum Ramlochan
