Lawyers representing three El Dorado Security Service guards in relation to an incident near the Hard Rock Café at MovieTowne say that they have handed over a video to the police that exonerates their clients.
The incident on December 30th 2022 pertains to an Essequibo businessman who was dining that day at Hard Rock.
In a statement on Friday, January 6th, the law firm, 1966 Law said that they were acting on behalf of the El Dorado guards: Cleon Jack, Elijah Cosbert and Imran Khan. The law firm said that the guards were innocent of the offences for which they were arrested by the police on January 3rd 2023. They added that it was unfortunate that “unbalanced” versions of the incident have been reported by several publications which were not named in the statement. The statement said that a video of the incident had been compiled and handed over to the police.
