Following the Demerara Cricker Board (DCB) elections at the body’s Annual General Meeting last week, Bissoondyal Singh will serve as President for a second term.
At the La Bonne Intention Cricket Facility Stabroek News understands that the voting process was done by show of hands with Singh getting the affirmative form 24 voters. Everest Cricket Club president and speaker of the National Assembly, Manzoor Nadir received seven votes.
According to a release from the body, the elections were attended by representatives from East Coast Cricket Board, East Bank Cricket Association, Upper Demerara Cricket Association, West Demerara Cricket Association and Georgetown Cricket Association.
