Imlach, Hemraj among the runs on day two

Tevin Imlach and Chandrapaul Hemraj  chalked up half-centuries on the second day of the second Guyana Harpy Eagles warm up match at the National Stadium, Providence yesterday.

Responding to Imlach’s XI of 226 in the first innings, Gudakesh Motie’s XI duly converted their overnight score of 46 for two to 216 all out in 54.5 overs. Imlach’s XI extended their lead, closing the day on 167 for four after 45 overs.

In their second innings, Imlach’s XI was propelled by skipper Imlach himself who made 65 from 73 balls. His innings featured 10 boundaries and, after the fall of Matthew Nandu’s wicket (the batsman failing to score), he shared in a 116-run stand for the second wicket with Hemraj.
