Two Black Bush Polder (BBP) men were yesterday remanded over the gruesome murder of a Yakusari couple who were discovered in their house on Tuesday morning with multiple injuries after a robbery and torching of their premises.
Harichan Persaud also known as ‘Head’, 22, a labourer of Lot 73 Yakusari, BBP and Emanuel Whittington also known as ‘Gaza’, 27, a labourer of Lot 177 Yakusari South, appeared at the Albion Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Rabindranuth Singh where they were charged jointly with the capital offence of murder of both victims.
