Pomeroon River accident victim died of blunt trauma, drowning

A Pomeroon man who was fishing in his canoe in the Upper Pomeroon River, died after a speedboat collided with his canoe.

The autopsy revealed that he died from compound blunt trauma to the back of his head and drowning.

The man was identified by police as Harold Edwards, 62 of Karawab Village, Upper Pomeroon.
