BIT issues certificates of Masters of Apprenticeship to harbour bridge, manganese companies

The Demerara Harbour Bridge Corporation (DHBC) along with Guyanese Manganese Incorporated (GMI) can now train persons in their companies’ respective trades as they collected their certificates of Masters of Apprenticeship from the Board of Industrial Training (BIT) which operates under the umbrella of the Ministry of Labour.

DHBC General Manager, Wayne Watson, along with a representative of GMI, collected their certificates on Friday on behalf of their respective companies from Minister of Labour, Joseph Hamilton, in the presence of BIT’s Acting Chief Executive Officer/Secretary Saskia Eastman-Onwuzirike at the ministry’s boardroom
