New Mexican Ambassador accredited

President Irfaan Ali on Tuesday accepted the Letters of Credence from the Resident Ambassador of Mexico,  Mauricio Vizcaino Crespo, at the Office of the President on Shiv Chanderpaul Drive.

A release from the Office of the President said that Ali pointed to the strengthened ties between the two countries and areas for further collaboration, including food security. He cited Mexico’s skillsets, technical capabilities and experience as Guyana positions itself as a hub for food production in the region.
