The Guyana Police Force is investigating the death of a 21 year old Parfaite Harmonie, WBD man who died at the West Demerara Regional Hospital (WDRH) on Monday night after he was involved in two separate accidents.
The dead man was identified as Shaquan Joe of 1358 School Street, Parfaite Harmonie, WBD.
A police statement said that Joe was riding motorcycle CL 9686 when pedestrian, Compton Bowen, 59, of, Parfaite Har-monie attempted to cross the Canal Number One Access road. Bowen, according to the police, stepped into the path of the oncoming motorcycle precipitating a collision. As a result of the impact, Joe fell hitting his head on the road. Public-spirited residents then picked him up in an unconscious state and placed him in pick-up 6631 to be transported to the WDRH.
