I would like to use the medium of your newspaper to enquire about the number of fires burning in Guyana, especially recently and in the western Region 9 (Rupununi). Daily infrared satellite detections show even more burnings than the offshore oil and gas FPSO flaring. A sample from January 31 is herewith included.
