US Ambassador to Guyana, Sarah-Ann Lynch on Friday presented a donation of medical equipment and supplies to Minister of Health Dr Frank Anthony at the Linden Hospital.
A statement from the US Embassy said that the medical items, which include adjustable hospital beds, diagnostic equipment, and patient care kits, have a combined value of US$33,000. This donation was made through the Department of Defense Overseas Humanitarian Assistance Program and the United States Southern Command.
In her remarks, Lynch reiterated the ongoing commitment the United States has to Guyana and its people.
