Bartica couple die after collision with motorcar

A motorcyclist and pillion rider, both residents of Bartica, died after being involved in a collision with a motorcar.

David Huggins, 26 years-old, of Half Mile, Potaro Road, Bartica and Felicia Lewis, a housewife of Mora Camp, Bartica, died after they collided with the car at about 3.50 pm on Thursday.

A release from the Guyana Police Force said that the accident occurred at Fourth Avenue and Fifth Street in Bartica. It involved a motorcycle, CL 3359, owned and ridden by Huggins, pillion rider Lewis, and a motorcar PRR 5669 owned and driven by 66 year-old Byron Pearson, a taxi driver of Mongrippa Hill, Bartica.
