The Guyana Prison Service (GPS) can now add 13 new recruits to its roster after they completed a four-month Basic Recruit Training Course (BRTC) at the Prison Training Centre at Timehri.
This information was disclosed in a GPS release yesterday. It added that the recruits were drawn from Swan Village, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, St. Cuthbert’s Mission, and Lethem and obtained training in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the job.
