Five persons were left homeless on Friday after a fire at Number 64 Village, Corentyne.
The Guyana Fire Service (GFS) yesterday said that it received a call at 2.30 pm on Friday about the fire.
Water tender #101 from the Corriverton Fire Station responded to the scene where the fire had engulfed a two-storey wooden and concrete building.
