Massive centuries from Sachin Singh and Tevin Imlach followed by a six-wicket haul from Ashmead Nedd spurred Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) to a draw against Malteenoes Sports Club in the Georgetown Cricket Association/GISE/Star Party Rentals/Trophy Stall two-day first-division tournament over the weekend.
Hosts, DCC won the toss and opted to bat first and piled up 387 for four in 79.1 overs before declaring.
Malteenoes responded with 227 all out in 45.4 overs before DCC closed the match on 70 for two after 11 overs.
