The Marlborough Primary and Nursery schools are now connected to solar electricity supply.
This has been accomplished via a 6kWp Solar Photovoltaic (PV) system along with a 28.8kWh Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solar system, thanks to the Guyana Energy Agency (GEA). The solar system was installed in February, 2023.
