The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Select XI yesterday brushed aside Demerara at the Enmore Community Development Centre ground, to become champions of the U-15 Super50 Inter-County tournament.
Berbice, who defeated Essequibo in their final round match yesterday were the runners up.
The GCB Select XI, which was captained by Guyana U-15 captain, Dave Mohabir, won the tournament by eking out a one run win over Berbice in the first match, whipped Essequibo by seven wickets in the second round and thrashed Demerara by 52 runs in yesterday’s finale.
