Boxing prospect, Alesha Jackman’s campaign at the ongoing International Boxing Association (IBA) Women’s World Boxing Championships which is being hosted in India, ended yesterday.

The light welterweight pugilist, suffered a second round stoppage against Khadichabonu Abdullaeva of Uzbekistan in their round-of-32 bout at the nine-day event being staged at The Indira Gandhi Arena.

Jackman, in her first international duty outside of the Region, showed inexperience during her debut at the championship and was outclassed by the seasoned Abdullaeva.
