The United States Embassy in George-town has notified US Citizens that it has increased its security protocols due to unspecified threats to US interests.
“Out of an abundance of caution, we want to inform U.S. citizens that the embassy has increased security protocols due to receiving threats against U.S. interests.” The U.S Embassy said.
The embassy asked that its citizens stay alert and exercise heightened caution.
