Children whose fathers are residents of the state’s penitentiaries yesterday received kites in time for the Easter holidays, and had the opportunity for familial bonding with their fathers as the Guyana Prison Service (GPS) works towards fostering family connectivity through its Welfare and Corrections Department.

A GPS press release said that the kite making and distribution exercise will continue until April 7, at all prison locations.
