The Guyana Police Force (GPF) has launched an investigation to identify the perpetrator who circulated the photograph of an individual as being wanted for Kirwyn Mars murder, wrongfully labelled as the suspect.
The police said in a press release yesterday that the GPF was the only legitimate organisation authorised to publish wanted bulletins for murder suspects. Under the 2018 Cyber Crime Act, it is illegal for members of the public to do so as it would be deemed criminal behaviour.
