A thirty-two-year-old driver of 994 East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday before Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus to answer to three charges of fraud that were read to him.
It is alleged that between 1st and 28th February 2022, at Georgetown, Quacy Hitt attempted to defraud Deojarratan Singh of the sum of $200,000 by falsely pretending he was in the position to secure him a firearm licence.
