Consultation held on updating HIV/AIDS Workplace Policy

A consultation was held yesterday at the Guyana Marriott Hotel in Kingston on the updating of the National HIV/AIDS Workplace Policy.

The forum was held by the Ministry of Health’s, National AIDS Programme Secretariat (NAPS) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Labour.

A release from the Ministry of Health that the objective of the consultation was to update the current policy that was developed in 2009, to eradicate stigma and discrimination among HIV/AIDS persons in the workplace.
