AG, UN team discuss backlog of criminal cases

Attorney General Anil Nandlall met a team from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on Tuesday and among the matters discussed was reducing the backlog of criminal cases.

A release from the Attorney General’s Chambers said that the UNDP team was headed by Stephanie Ziebell, Deputy Resident Representative and included  Christalle Gemon, Acting Head of Governance and Poverty Reduction,  Sarita Marshall, Programme Associate and  Rene Chan, Operations Coordinator. The  Attorney General was accompanied by Prithima Kissoon, Public Trustee/Official Receiver.
