Santa Rosa, Waramuri, Port Kaituma, Vreed-en-Hoop and Patentia recorded wins yesterday to advance to the next round in the 8th edition of the Digicel Schools Football Championship.
In the Region #1 section, Santa Rosa demolished Manawarin 11-0 at the Two Miles ground. Melon Lucas tallied a helmet trick, whilst Roy Van Sluytman and Deon James recorded two goals each. Adding one goal respectively were the trident of Travis Jarvis, Rockwell Harris, and Darius Williams.
