The residents of Uncle Eddie’s Home are now enjoying newly redecorated living quarters courtesy of a collaboration between Food for the Poor (FTTP) Guyana Inc and Harris Paints Guyana Limited.

According to a press release, the idea to refurbish the southern wing of the elderly home, which was completed last week, was initiated by FTTP which then reached out to Harris Paints for assistance.

The colour scheme chosen includes two shades of grey and white to create a soothing and calming atmosphere for the residents. “Colour is an important part of managing health and well-being…  Grey provides a soft backdrop that is peaceful, balanced and reassuring,” the press release said.
