Leslain Baird finished just off the podium in the men’s javelin while the men’s 4x100m relay team crossed the line in fifth last night at the ongoing Central America and Caribbean (CAC) Games in El Salvador.
Baird, the national javelin record holder, recorded a best throw of 75.86m at the Jorge ‘El Mágico’ Gonzalez Stadium for the event which was won by Trinidad’s Keshorn Walcott (83.60m).
