Thirteen graduate from Republic Bank’s apprenticeship scheme

Thirteen young men and women on Friday graduated from a seven-month training stint at Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited.

This event concluded the twelfth annual Apprenticeship Programme, a release from the bank said yesterday.

Each apprentice received a Caribbean Vocational Qualification Banking

Operations Level 1 certificate approved by the Council for Human and Social Development of CARICOM via the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET). With this qualification, the apprentices will be eligible for jobs within the CARICOM region, the release said.
