Two men were yesterday remanded to prison after they were charged with the murder of a 29-year-old labourer of Lot 21 ‘A’ Kilcoy, Chesney, Corentyne, Berbice last week.
Vishal Deonarine also known as ‘Fat Boy’ and ‘Gabar’, 33, a fisherman of Lot 67 Kilcoy Squatting Area, and Vishal Vickram Ramsammy also known as ‘Max’, 23, a fisherman of Lot 130 Kilcoy Squatting Area appeared before Magistrate Peter Hugh yesterday at the New Amster-dam Magistrate’s Court.
The unrepresented men were jointly charged with the murder of Leon Aswell Kum between Tuesday, July, 4 and Wednesday July, 5 at Kilcoy Squatting Area.
