Local golfers are for the first time competing in this weekend’s Tobago Open being hosted at the Tobago Plantations Magdalena Golf Resort.
The eight players were welcomed by the president of the Trinidad and Tobago Golf Association Wayne Baptiste on Friday.
At the opening ceremony of the two-day (Saturday and Sunday) event with 94 international golfers set to battle for top honours, Vice president of the Barbados Golf Association David Philips also welcomed the visiting team.
