The family of a 29-year-old farmer who was struck down and killed on Foulis Access Road early Sunday morning is demanding a thorough investigation. A motorcyclist has been arrested.
Police are investigating the hit and run fatal incident that occurred around 01:30 hrs yesterday on the Foulis Access Road, East Coast Demerara. The incident involved an unknown vehicle and pedestrian Ameer Bassalut, 29, of Lot 553 Foulis, East Coast Demerara.
