A truck driver and two porters are in custody assisting with an investigation after they were nabbed with 702 grammes of cannabis at Sherima Police Station yesterday morning, according to a Guyana Police Force release.
Efforts are being made to contact the owner of the truck.
At the time of the discovery, the driver of the lorry was Andre Hollingsworth, a 47-year-old from Soesdyke-Linden Highway, and there were two porters: Scott Evans, 22, and Leroy Evans, 39, both of whom reside at Kuru Kuru on the Soesdyke-Linden Highway.
