Guyana confirms 13 member squad for Commonwealth Youth Games

Guyana’s 13-member contingent scheduled to depart on Wednesday for the Commonwealth Youth Games in Trinidad and Tobago was unveiled yesterday at Olympic House.

The delegation consists of five officials and eight athletes who will represent the nation in the disciplines of track and field and swimming during the seventh edition of the event which gets underway on August 4.

The five officials on the week-long sojourn dubbed Trinbago2023 are, Team Leader, Nalini McKoy, Coaches Julian Edmonds and Shyka Gonsalves, Doctor Victor Allen and Physiotherapist, Vanessa Wickham.
