Police in New Amsterdam, Berbice yesterday discovered a revolver and ammunition in a supermarket compound.
According to a report, yesterday, between 03.20 hours and 03.45 hours, ranks acting on information went to J’s Supermarket at Essex Street, New Amsterdam where they discovered a .38 revolver and one live round of .38 ammunition.
A 29-year-old security guard attached to the supermarket related that he was on duty when he saw a man, Oswain Lawson, called ‘Blacka’ running towards the supermarket with an identifiable male and an identifiable female, chasing him.
