The Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC) has praised Dr. Tiffany Fiedtkou, an anaesthesiologist over what it said was a life-saving medical evacuation of a young patient on Monday last from Mabaruma to Georgetown.
The GPHC in a release said that the young patient, hospitalized at the Mabaruma Regional Hospital, Region 1, Guyana, was grappling with a life-threatening ruptured ectopic pregnancy and faced a precarious situation that prevented her from being transported to Georgetown for immediate care.
