The Guyana Sugar Corporation (GuySuCo) has announced that the Albion/Port Mourant estate has again surpassed its weekly production target for the 2nd Crop of 2023 in the week ending August 12.
This was stated in a GuySuCo release yesterday which explained that this achievement was due to the 70% turnout of harvesters this week as against a turnout of 62% in second crop of 2022 resulting in the estate’s increased ability to supply canes to the factory.
