Forty-three-year-old Delano Kendell, of 19th Street Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara appeared before Magistrate Rhondell Weever on Monday to answer to break and enter and larceny charges and was jailed for three years.
It is alleged that between the 17th June and 25th July 2023, at Queenstown, Georgetown, the defendant broke and enter the dwelling house of Vishnu Singh and stole one double door fridge valued at $300,000; a kitchen faucet valued at $30,000, a toilet bowl valued at $70,000, six matching toilet sets valued at $66,000 and a Delta faucet valued at $80,000. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge.
