Adrian Brandt, 44, of Lot 9 Norton Street, Georgetown, appeared yesterday at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court before Acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus to answer to the two charges of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to both charges.
It was reported that on August 14, at Princes Street, Georgetown, Brandt had in his possession, a Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol, without being a licensed firearm holder at the time. Also, at the same date and place, he had in his possession, 15 live rounds of matching ammunition.
