The curtain came down on the three-hand dominoes competition of the World Council of Dominoes Federations (WCDF), 19th World Domino championships at the Providence National Stadium last evening and after the dust had settled, the Guyana men’s team had emerged victorious whilst the women’s team endured a heartbreak, losing to the USA team on sixes.

“The USA and Guyana female teams were tied on points and when it came down to sixes, USA had one six more than us, so they got first, Guyana placed second and Barbados got third,” said coordinator of the event Barbara Marshall last evening.
