Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Tony Blair and his wife, Cherie Blair, of the women’s empowerment non-profit organisation, the Cherie Blair Foundation, are expected to visit Guyana next week, a top government official has confirmed.
The government official yesterday told Stabroek News that the Blairs will be here next week. This newspaper understands that the visit is part of the work of the non-profit organisation.
