Former two-time national boxing champion Jeff Roberts is of the opinion that unified welterweight champion Terrence Crawford can be the boxer to break Floyd Mayweather’s record.
Roberts was speaking to Stabroek Sports in the aftermath of Crawford’s demolition of Errol `The Truth’ Spence in their recent welterweight showdown.
Crawford stopped Spence in their welterweight unification bout in the ninth round of a scheduled 12-round contest.
With the win Crawford is now the holder of the IBF World welterweight, WBA World super welterweight, WBC world welterweight and WBO World welterweight title belts.
