Speaking at the National Toshaos Council (NTC) Conference 2023 yesterday, President Irfaan Ali stressed that all issues raised by village leaders are to be addressed and as such, permanent secretaries from the various government ministries are to be present tomorrow.
“I have instructed that every single Permanent Secretary must spend the entirety of tomorrow (today) at the NTC and they are here and they will be in what is known as the ‘Lulu Room’ and they have the mandate of ensuring that within the boundaries of the law and regulations, that every outstanding issue that you have in the various sectors must be completed before you leave here and go back to your villages,” President Ali declared.
He added that all the issues raised are expected to be documented and worked on and the report on the actions taken to complete the issues must be finalised by Friday.
