Twenty-seven officers have completed the Guyana Defence Force’s Standard Officers Course Number Fifty-Four. This new cohort of Officers was adorned with their new badges of rank during a Commissioning Parade held in their honour at the Drill Square, Base Camp Ayanganna, Thomas Lands yesterday. President and Commander-in-Chief, Irfaan Ali, delivered the feature address. Cadet Officer Brandon Thomas of the Guyana Prison Service received the coveted Sword of Honour, the Commander-in-Chief prize for the Best Graduating Student. He also copped the award for Best Shot.
