Four brothers: 29-year-old Omesh Persaud, 26-year-old Avidesh Persaud, 21-year-old Yogeshwar Persaud and 18-year-old Adesh Persaud, all of Lot 14 David Rose Housing Scheme, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara were yesterday charged with beating a fisherman.
The four accused appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court yesterday before Magis-trate Alisha George where the charge was read to them.
They entered not guilty pleas to the charge that they wounded 34-year-old Sushil Nagasar, a fisherman of Mosquito Hall, East Coast Demerara.
