Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand yesterday commissioned the Doodnauth Hetram block at Queen’s College.
A release from the Ministry of Education said that the $103.5 million block features eight classrooms, washroom facilities, and a home economics lab and will accommodate approximately 200 Queen’s College sixth form students.
Delivering the feature address, Manickchand stated that the Ministry of Education has been assiduously working to provide safe and comfortable learning environments for students across the country. She said that the commissioning of a new block caters to the growing population of the school.
