Two men appeared on Friday at the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrate’s Court charged with the possession of 1500 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
Romel Bollers, 31, a mason of Lot 120 Brutus Street, Agricola, East Bank Demerara (EBD) and Evander Lewis, 32, of Lot 645 Kiskadee Drive, South Ruimveldt both pleaded not guilty when they appeared before Magistrate Sunil Scarce.
Bollers was remanded to prison while Lewis was granted $150,000 bail. The matter was adjourned to November 30th.
