The regional one-day cricket championship begins today in Trinidad.

Since the inaugural tournament sponsored by the Gillette Company in 1976 only four players could boast of scoring a century on their regional one-day debut.

First to achieve this historical feat was the Barbados middle order batsman Terrence Hunte.
