A Williamsburg businessman died yesterday morning after he was struck in his head by a man who broke into his supermarket.
Dead is Akbhar Sain, 59, who operated Sain’s Supermarket along the Williamsburg, Corentyne Public Road.
Alert residents coupled with swift action by the police resulted in the lone bandit being nabbed in the upper flat of the building following the 2.30 am robbery.
