A committee to address several concerns including the anti-laundering law was agreed following a meeting on Wednesday between Attorney General Anil Nandlall SC and a team from the Guyana Bar Association (GBA).
At the meeting, Nandlall, also Legal Affairs Minister, was accompanied by Deputy Solicitor General, Deborah Kumar; Assistant Solicitor General, Shoshanna Lall and Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) Officer, Rommel St. Hill.
A release from the AG’s Chambers yesterday said that the Bar Association team was headed by Ronald Burch-Smith, President of the GBA and included Robin Stoby SC, Teni Housty, Kamal Ramkarran and Naresh Poonai.
