Eight persons are now homeless after a Mon Repos house was destroyed by arson yesterday morning.
The Guyana Fire Service said that at 3:23 am, firefighters responded to a house on fire at Lot 233 Mon Repos North, Block 7, Fifth Street, East Coast Demerara.
Water tenders #95, #105, Water Carrier #16, and Ambulance #13, along with their respective crews, were immediately dispatched to the location.
